Character Creation

Alakazi Dune Wizard – Alakazi dune wizards collect tradable spice from their adventures. Alakazi spice can be used in place of rare resources when performing alchemy. Their garden plants are harvestable 30% faster. They begin with an Alakazi dune worm familiar, which opens ground combat with a dig attack, and can be your friend. (Other classes can obtain familiars, but not the Alakazi dune worm.)

Moon Mystic – Per planet, moon mystics can calibrate a piece of mage or ship equipment to one of the planet's moons. The calibrated equipment gains the moon's energies. Similarly, moon mystics can spend resources to construct a moon pool on a planet. Moon pools work similarly to the moon mystic's moon calibration, but benefit all players adventuring on the planet (and stack with calibration). Moon pools decay over time.

Ectomancer – Ectomancers gain extra power from a planet's ectometer. (The ectometer is shared between players, and grows when a mage's ship or an alien is defeated at a planet. It decays over time.) Ectomancers are the only class able to warp on the Ghost Gate. (The Ghost Gate only warps to planets with a positive ectometer, and makes special items obtainable. However, the warp level cannot be chosen.)

Xingu Priest – Xingu priests can shrink defeated aliens' heads into tradable accessories. Their auras have a chance to not decay during between combat rounds. They heal double when out of combat, including natural and psychic healing.

Solar Djinn – Solar djinns begin with a wish and gain another every 24 hours. When a PvP battle includes a solar djinn, the winner of the fight takes a wish from the loser, provided both combatants had an available wish. (Wishes can be used to wish for XP, gold, healing, damage, or rare resources for yourself or another player. It's possible to acquire wishes as other classes.) Solar djinns' ship allocation is 25% more effective. (Ship allocation is the percentage of a mage's ability scores they're psychically allocating to their orbiting ship.)

Astral Pilgrim – Astral pilgrims can take the bodies of their foes and fight as them. Astral pilgrims can't use robes, hats, or shoes, but they gain power from their bodies.
